Tiptop Transport is a growing transportation company based in Regina, Saskatchewan, specializing in long-haul freight transportation across Canada and the United States. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Truck Dispatcher to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily trucking operations, communicating with drivers and customers, booking and tracking loads, and ensuring shipments are delivered safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch and coordinate company trucks and drivers on daily Canada/USA routes.
- Plan efficient routes while considering delivery schedules, driver hours, weather, traffic, and border requirements.
- Book and negotiate loads with brokers, customers, and freight partners.
- Communicate with drivers throughout their trips and provide clear instructions.
- Monitor truck and shipment locations and provide updates to customers when required.
- Track pickup and delivery appointments and ensure shipments are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate border crossings and ensure drivers have the required paperwork and shipment information.
- Review and verify bills of lading, delivery documents, load confirmations, and other transportation paperwork.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and update transportation management systems.
- Monitor driver Hours of Service and help ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations.
- Communicate with brokers and customers regarding delays, appointment changes, breakdowns, and other operational issues.
- Work closely with the maintenance and safety departments regarding truck or driver issues.
- Handle unexpected situations such as breakdowns, delays, missed appointments, and changes in delivery schedules.
- Maintain professional relationships with drivers, customers, brokers, and other transportation partners.




- Assist management with daily operational reports and other transportation-related tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in trucking dispatching or transportation logistics is preferred.
- Knowledge of Canada/USA long-haul trucking operations is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of transportation routes and major cities across Canada and the United States.
- Understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) and trucking compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick operational decisions.
- Solid computer skills and experience with transportation software/TMS systems.
- Experience working with load boards such as Loadlink, DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms is an asset.
- Experience communicating with brokers and negotiating freight rates is an asset.
- Ability to communicate professionally with drivers, customers, and business partners.
- Previous experience with cross-border shipments and U.S. freight is an asset.
