Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mini Excavator/Skidsteer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating small-scale heavy equipment such as mini excavators and skidsteers to assist in various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progression, safety, and quality workmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills to make a tangible impact on our construction sites. Responsibilities

- Operate mini excavators and skidsteers with precision to perform tasks in new residential construcution
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a protected working environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently
- Assist other crew member in completing daily tasks safely

Experience





- Proven experience operating mini excavators on residential construction sites. Majority of work will be done installing power and exposing gas into new home builds across Alberta
- Proven experience operating skid steers on residential construction sites. Majority of work will be done Backfilling foundations and utility trenches throughout Alberta
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment between sites. Must be comfortable pulling a tailer behind a truck
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy machinery operation and construction environments.
- Experience working with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
