Job description:

At Arcadia Home Care, we specialize in Alzheimer’s and related dementia and acquired brain injury. We dedicate ourselves to improving the quality of life for individuals by providing services that help them remain independent in their own homes.‬ Personal Support Worker will provide a safe environment and positive emotional support while caring for clients. We are looking for those candidates that are passionate about caring for others.‪

EDUCATION: ‬‬
PSW Certified

QUALIFICATIONS:

(PART TIME HOURS SO CANDIDATE MUST BE WITHIN/ NEAR HALIBURTON, ON)

Must be Comfortable with housekeeping and meal preparation
PSW CERTIFICATE obtained in Ontario

Valid First Aid/CPR certification
Valid Police Clearance
Current Medical TB Clearance
Flexible availability
Experience in dealing with clients who went through a motor vehicle accident is an asset
Home Care
Outstanding communication skills
Creative and able to solve problems
Fluent in English – oral and written
Preferably fully vaccinated
Preferably drives and has a car
