Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly of our custom pneumatically and mechanically controlled lift assist devices. Be able top read and understand our 3D drawings. This role requires hands-on expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Shop Technician will work closely with our team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assembly using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Assemble parts and components accurately according to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems as required.
Requirements
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Pneumatic or electrical experience an asset.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and assembly processes.
- Be able to read and work from assembly drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
