Position: Carpenter

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Carpenter with a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on carpentry experience and a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of carpentry techniques, with experience in residential and commercial framing considered a strong asset. The ideal candidate is diligent, reliable, and takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are essential for success in this role.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: Salary to be discussed based on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Framing, installing floor, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systems.





· Fitting and installing window frames, trim, doors, stairs, molding and hardware.

· Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes.

· Repairing and renovating wooden structures.

· Utilize a range of hand and power tools proficiently to complete tasks efficiently.

· Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

· Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

· Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and project managers to facilitate smooth project progression.

· Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are consistently followed. Cleans up worksite debris.

Requirements and Skills

· 5 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry.

· Ability to work in a team environment with customers and other employees.

· Ability to follow instructions.

· Must have own transportation and a valid driver’s license.

· Specialty tools will be company supplied; you will need to provide your own basic hand tools/tool bag.
