Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional Tour Guide / Shuttle Drivers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This position is based at the Town of Banff in Banff National Park. The successful candidate must be able to commute to work. No allowance is available for housing or relocation costs.

Duties

- Safely operate Tour Van along scheduled routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs
- Conduct commercial vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly
- Provide live commentary about sights, wildlife, and general park attractions
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking by providing friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle at all times
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route updates or issues
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs

Qualifications





- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class 4 Alberta with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic Daily vehicle inspections and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with passengers and team members
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with dispatch and passengers
- Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather conditions and traffic situations

This role is vital for ensuring safe, reliable tours and shuttles while providing excellent customer experiences.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
