Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated and reliable Dishwashers to join our team! These team members are essential to maintaining a clean and functional kitchen. They are responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and ensuring a sanitary environment in all areas of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dish machines or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Restock clean dishes and utensils to appropriate kitchen stations.
- Empty and sanitize garbage, compost, and recycling bins regularly.
- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces as needed.
- Monitor soap and sanitizer levels in the dishwasher and notify the supervisor when low.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
- Help with basic food prep or kitchen cleaning tasks when required.
- Keep the dish area organized and free of debris throughout the shift
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Performing other duties as required and when assigned that would directly relate to the operation of the restaurant.
