Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator/Baker to join our bakery team. This role combines baking and decorating, ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on to create high-quality, visually appealing products.

The candidate will be responsible for icing cakes, icing and decorating pastries, and preparing a variety of European-style baked goods. You will also assist with packaging finished products, ensuring they are presented attractively and handled with care.

While these are the primary duties, the role may include additional bakery tasks as needed to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about producing delicious baked goods that meet high standards of quality and presentation.

This is an active, physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

The schedule is primarily Monday to Wednesday, with additional shifts on Thursdays during busier weeks.

Duties

- Prepare + ice cakes before decorating
- Ice + Decorate pastries
- Assist with baking and food preparation tasks when necessary,



including preparing and packaging baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area
- Handle food products safely in accordance with proper food handling procedures
- Package finished baked goods for sale and distribution

Skills

- Knowledge of food preparation+ baking techniques within the food industry.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Robust organizational skills
- Experience with kitchen equipment used in baking and decorating processes is preferred
- Basic understanding of packaging techniques to ensure product presentation.

Experience is not a necessity. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
