Job description

Select Cannabis is currently looking for a passionate cannabis qualified to join our Alberta Ave Location (8924 118 Ave NW) location team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for cannabis and wants to expand their cannabis knowledge. Select Cannabis is currently looking for a Full/part-time/ sales associate (Budtender) for morning/evening/ and weekend shifts.

Select Cannabis is a family owned and operated cannabis retailer located in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities/Duties:





- Greeting customers with a positive attitude and assisting customers with the selection of products.
- Must be passionate/knowledgeable with cannabis products and accessories or willing to learn.
- Perform all duties within the governing rules of AGLC and store policies.
- Stay up to date with the newest products.
- Perform store duties such as operating the store POS (Point of Sale), cash handling, tracking inventory, cleanup and other store tasks.
- Must be able to work alone at times and with a team.
- Expected to come in on shifts on time.

Job Requirements:

- AGLC SellSafe & Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW)
- Friendly, approachable, and helpful
- Previous cannabis retail experience is an asset but it is not necessary
- 18+ years old
- 1+ years of experience in a retail environment. Not required but preferred
- Able to work with team members and alone at times

Availability:

- Weekends
- Evening Shifts

Job Type: Part-time, Casual, Hours Range between 12-24 per week

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
