Elora Road Meats is a well-established, family-operated meat processing facility serving farmers and retail customers since 1976.

We are seeking an experienced butcher to join our team full-time.

As a butcher you will need to:

- Break down beef, pork, lamb, and seasonal wild game according to customer specifications.
- Perform all stages of meat cutting and processing.
- Maintain equipment and ensure sanitation standards are met.
- Assist retail customers and answer phone inquiries.
- Lift and move products weighing 60 lbs or more.
- Support general shop operations as required.

The ideal candidate has:

- Motivation and willingness to learn!
- Experience in livestock slaughter and kill-floor operations is considered a strong asset.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience breaking down whole beef, pork, and lamb carcasses required.
- Food Safety certificate (will send for training if needed)

This position will be full time Monday-Friday.



This may include longer days and weekends on occasion. The fall is typically busier and more hours would be needed.

Competitive wages based on experience and skill level.

An apprenticeship is available - Must be motivated and willing to complete all stages of butchering process.
