We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Journeyman /woman Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Responsibilities

- Install new roofing systems using hand tools and construction techniques aligned with industry standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure precise execution
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment to facilitate smooth project flow
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing integrity across various roofing surfaces
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing, trimming, or modifying roof structures as needed
- Conduct inspections for quality assurance, identifying potential issues early and addressing them promptly




- Use handyman experience to troubleshoot problems quickly on-site and provide effective solutions
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and debris regularly

Experience

- Valid Red Seal certification as a Journeyman /woman Roofer with proven experience in roofing installation
- Torch-on/SBS 2-ply experience required.
- Experience with IKO or Soprema roofing systems
- Coastal/marine exposure roofing experience
- Strong construction background with hands-on experience working on diverse building projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools specific to roofing tasks such as hammers, drills, snips, and measuring devices
- Knowledge of blueprint reading to accurately interpret project plans and specifications
- Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Carpentry skills that support framing or structural modifications when necessary
