Quantum Industrial Solutions Inc. (QIS) is seeking a driven, highly organized Industrial Project Manager to lead complex industrial rehabilitation and protective coating projects throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

QIS specializes in industrial coatings, spray-applied structural linings, culvert and infrastructure rehabilitation, polyurethane grouting, and other specialty construction solutions. Our projects are completed in demanding municipal, transportation, rail, utility, and industrial environments where safety, quality, communication, and schedule control are critical.

The successful candidate will manage projects from handoff and mobilization through execution, financial closeout, and final documentation. This position requires a proactive leader who can coordinate field crews, clients, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments while maintaining control of scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead assigned industrial construction and rehabilitation projects from pre-construction handoff through final closeout.
- Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate field supervisors, crews, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, suppliers, and client representatives.
- Review contracts, specifications, drawings, coating schedules, technical data sheets, inspection plans, and project requirements.
- Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, access limitations, schedule risks, and commercial exposures before they affect production.
- Prepare and maintain four-week lookaheads, weekly work plans, procurement schedules, and daily production targets.
- Ensure field teams have the approved drawings, procedures, materials, equipment, permits, and documentation required to perform the work.
- Track project costs, labour hours, equipment, materials, productivity, commitments, forecasts, and overall project profitability.
- Review daily reports, timecards, field documentation, quantity tracking, and supporting records for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and submit RFIs, change notices, quotations, change orders, progress claims, delay notifications,



and other contractual correspondence.
- Identify changes in scope promptly and ensure additional work is documented and commercially addressed before proceeding whenever possible.
- Provide clear, professional, and timely updates to clients and internal leadership.
- Coordinate material purchasing, equipment mobilization, subcontractors, accommodations, transportation, and site logistics.
- Work closely with QIS Quality and Field Standards personnel to ensure compliance with project specifications, inspection requirements, manufacturer instructions, and QIS procedures.
- Support the preparation and execution of inspection and test plans, coating reports, environmental records, quality documentation, deficiency lists, and turnover packages.
- Promote a solid safety culture and ensure project activities comply with QIS safety requirements, client requirements, WorkSafeBC or applicable provincial regulations, and site-specific safety plans.
- Lead project meetings and ensure decisions, responsibilities, deadlines, and follow-up actions are clearly documented.
- Manage multiple active projects and priorities without sacrificing safety, quality, communication, or commercial control.
- Complete project closeout, including final billing, deficiencies, warranties, lessons learned, client documentation, and internal performance reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

- Proven project management experience in industrial construction, heavy civil construction, infrastructure rehabilitation, protective coatings, or a related specialty construction sector.
- Strong understanding of field construction processes, productivity management, scheduling, procurement, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience managing projects involving industrial coatings, abrasive blasting, concrete rehabilitation, culverts, pipelines, utilities, bridges, confined spaces, or municipal infrastructure is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, specifications, drawings, coating schedules, technical data sheets, inspection requirements, and engineering documentation.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing RFIs, change orders, progress claims, cost forecasts,



schedules, and project closeout documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Bluebeam Revu, and construction documentation systems.
- Experience with SiteDocs, scheduling software, estimating software, CRM platforms, or comparable project management systems is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands, make timely decisions, and maintain control of multiple projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to recognize scope, schedule, cost, and contractual risk.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project challenges.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
- Project Management Professional certification, construction management education, engineering technology training, or equivalent industry experience is an asset.
- AMPP, NACE, SSPC, coating inspection, confined-space, or construction safety training is considered an asset.
