Job Overview:

APTIM is seeking Quality Control Inspectors to support the upcoming fall Turnaround in the Fort McMurray region. As a member of the Quality Control Team, you will be participating in the implementation and execution of various work scopes across site. The successful candidate will perform work in a fast-paced operating plant setting with a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform visual inspections in accordance with codes of construction and client specifications
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the project scope, schedule, inspection, testing, and quality documentation
- Review and approve third party test results for compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate system turnover activities and assist in assembling turnovers




- Commitment to working safely and actively participating in a safe worksite culture

Minimum Requirements:

- Diploma in Engineering Technology with two years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control or Journeyperson trade certificate with five years in quality assurance/quality control
- CWB Level I or II Certified Welding Inspector
- API 510/570, ABSA Welding Examiner, NACE CIP etc. considered assets
- Proficient with the use of a computer and Microsoft Office programs
