Cambrian College’s School of Engineering Technology requires part-time professors to teach within its Civil Engineering Technology post-secondary program commencing in September 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities
Individuals will teach the following course:
- Construction Project Management
Qualifications
Required:
- Must have an Advanced Diploma within the field of Civil Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering (a copy of educational documents and certificates must be submitted with application - *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application).
- Five years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be an effective role model in the classroom.
- Ability to use creative teaching approaches and current and emerging teaching and learning strategies to enhance student progress.
- Possess valuable organizational skills and sound computer software skills.
- Ability to function within a team environment.
Additional Assets/Preferred:
- Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
- Project Management designation with the Project Management Institute.
