We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience working with various types of heavy equipment.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
- Making hydraulic hoses along with various Hydraulic device repairs
- Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble and reassemble components
- Read and interpret equipment schematics and technical manuals
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment as required
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment
- Experience working with dealership or heavy equipment industry preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to the job
- Familiarity with welding techniques for metal fabrication
- Class One drivers license considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
