Join our dynamic team as a Kearl Lake Safety Advisor and become a vital part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient work workplace. In this role, you will lead safety initiatives, support training and development efforts, and foster a proactive safety culture across our operations. Your energetic approach and dedication will help ensure that safety standards are not only met but exceeded, empowering our team to work confidently and securely every day. This is a camp job and has a 14/14 schedule.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the facility to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops to enhance team knowledge on safe work practices, emergency response, and incident prevention.
- Support manufacturing teams by integrating safety protocols into daily operations and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety concerns thoroughly to determine root causes and develop effective mitigation strategies.




- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain accurate safety documentation.
- Foster a positive safety culture by engaging employees at all levels through communication, recognition, and ongoing development opportunities.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a safety advisory role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to industrial operations.
- Demonstrated ability in training & development to effectively educate teams on safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey safety messages and facilitate collaboration across departments.
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations with attention to detail.
- Class 3 license
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
