Job Title: Ring Crew

Duration: August-November 1, 2026

Salary: $19 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our ring crew at our upcoming horse show season. The ring crew plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the jumping competition and the safety of the horses and riders.

Responsibilities:

· Set up the horse show venue to get ready for the upcoming events

· Set up and take down jump obstacles according to the course design

· Adjust jump heights as required by the judge or course designer

· Maintain the integrity of the course by ensuring all jumps are properly positioned and secured

· Assist in guiding horses and riders through the course during competition

· Quickly and efficiently repair any damaged jumps during the competition

· Communicate effectively with the judge, course designer, and other show staff to coordinate jump changes and updates

· Tear down the horse show venue in October once all the events have been completed

· Complete any other task deemed key by management

· Working as a part of a team is essential in the fast-paced environment of a horse show. Supporting your fellow ring crew members and collaborating to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Qualifications:





· Previous experience working with horses and/or at horse shows preferred

· Robust attention to detail and ability to follow directions - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Physical ability to lift and move jump equipment as needed
