Duties

- Plan and execute comprehensive basketball training programs tailored to various skill levels
- Lead team practices, drills, and scrimmages to improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance and confidence
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship
- Organize and oversee game-day strategies, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules
- Promote additional activities such as swimming or other sports to diversify athlete engagement when applicable
- Maintain transparent communication with players, parents,



and staff regarding schedules, progress, and upcoming events

Qualifications

- Proven experience in coaching basketball at youth or adult levels with a passion for teaching the sport
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Excellent communication skills to motivate and instruct diverse groups of athletes
- Ability to develop customized training plans that challenge athletes appropriately
- Prior experience or interest in teaching swimming is a plus for multi-sport program involvement
- Energetic attitude with the ability to inspire teamwork, discipline, and resilience in athletes
- Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$35.00 per hour
