Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Foreman ICI (Steel Stud/Drywall) to lead and oversee commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, extensive construction knowledge, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves managing daily operations on-site, coordinating teams, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining project timelines. The Foreman ICI will play a critical role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence throughout all phases of drywall and steel stud installation projects.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction crews specializing in steel stud framing and drywall installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking, documentation, and scheduling.
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage project budgets, track labor hours, materials, and equipment usage to maintain cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project timelines.
- Enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.




- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Assist in estimating project costs and reviewing schematics for accurate implementation of design plans.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to crew members to foster a productive work environment.

Qualifications

- Proven supervisory experience in commercial construction projects involving steel stud framing and drywall installation.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency with construction management software
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Construction experience with a focus on drywall systems or steel framing is highly preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately.
