South Location

Lucky Supermarket, an Asian-Western grocery store, is looking for a Seafood Clerk to join our department team. As a Seafood Clerk, you play an important role in providing customers with fresh and live seafoods, high-quality seafood products in a clean, safe, and service-focused environment. You will support daily store operations by preparing, handling, and displaying seafood items, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining cleanliness while following food safety and sanitation standards. Knowledge of various seafood types and preparation methods is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, clean, portion, and package seafood products according to company standards and customer requests
- Weigh, price, label, and display seafood items for sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of seafood counters, tools, and work areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service, including seafood selection advice, cooking tips, and recommendations
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality and reduce waste
- Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations
- Assist with restocking,



inventory checks, and receiving seafood deliveries as needed

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience as a Seafood Clerk or similar food-handling role is an asset
- Knowledge of seafood types and basic preparation techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced seafood department
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 40–60 lbs (18–27 kg)
- Solid hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

- Cold / refrigerated seafood department
