Sales Associate – Composite Deck Shop Location: Barrie, ON

Position Type: Seasonal (April 1 – November 1) The season may be extended with pre-season planning and preparation.

Composite Deck Shop is looking for a motivated, energetic, and responsible Sales Associate to join our team. We are looking for someone who can start this season, learn our products, processes, and customers, and be fully prepared to take on a larger sales role next season. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious person who enjoys working with customers and wants to build a successful career in sales. We see significant long-term potential for the right candidate, with excellent opportunities to increase earnings as our business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist walk-in customers with product selection and product knowledge

- Prepare quotations and process customer orders

- Follow up with customer inquiries and support the sales process from start to finish

- Keep the showroom organized, clean, and well-stocked

- Be able to move product samples and materials (up to 20 lbs)

- Operate a forklift (if certified or willing to learn)

Requirements





- Previous sales or customer service experience is an asset

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn

- Positive attitude and a willingness to grow with the company

- Physically able to lift product samples and materials (up to 20 lbs)

- Forklift experience is an asset but not required
