We are looking for: Analytical Chemist – ISO 17025

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $3,400.00-$4,000.00 per month

Job Description:

- Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished Natural Health Products in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, and FTIR.
- Develop, verify, and validate analytical methods following Health Canada guidelines.
- Ensure strict adherence to GMP and Health Canada NHP regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, data integrity,



and traceability of all laboratory records.
- Participate in internal audits, proficiency testing, and accreditation assessments.
- Conduct equipment calibration, maintenance, and performance qualification.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results and support CAPA processes.
- Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and support batch release activities.
- Assist with stability studies, regulatory submissions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:.

- Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline.
- PhD preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating and maintaining lab equipment and instrumentation, particularly HPLC.
- ISO 17025
- Gas chromatography (GC) Testing
- Experience in an analytical laboratory setting is an asset.
- Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
