Job Title: Experienced Earthworks Labourer – Paving & Basework
Location: Various locations throughout Edmonton and Area
Job Type: Full-Time | Seasonal

We’re currently seeking Experienced Earthworks Labourers with a strong background in paving and basework to join our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Assist with grading, subgrade prep, and placement of base and gravel materials
- Support paving crews in site prep, asphalt placement, and compaction activities
- Operate hand tools, plate tampers, and small equipment as required
- Set grades using string line, lasers, and levels
- Load, unload, and organize site materials and tools
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Follow all site-specific safety protocols and procedures
- Work under the direction of the Foreman or Lead Hand





What You Bring to the Team:

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in civil construction
- Strong knowledge of base preparation, grading, and paving operations
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment and traffic
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods
- Ability to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
- CSTS-2020 and Ground Disturbance Level II certifications (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 or better considered an asset)
- Safety-focused mindset and a strong work ethic
