Join our agile team as a Tree Surgeon/Groundsman/Woman, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and aesthetics of our outdoor environments. This energetic position combines skilled tree care with grounds maintenance, offering an engaging opportunity to work outdoors and make a visible impact. You will assist with pruning, tree removal, rigging, landscape upkeep, and operate specialized equipment such as bucket trucks and bucket lifts. Your proactive approach will ensure safe, beautiful landscapes while supporting the overall health of urban and rural green spaces.

Responsibilities

- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal using proper rigging techniques to ensure safety and precision.
- Operate bucket trucks and lifts to access high branches or hard-to-reach areas efficiently.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, planting, mulching, and general groundskeeping.
- Assist with arboricultural assessments utilizing GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning purposes.
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment,



securing work areas with proper rigging, and adhering to industry safety protocols.
- Support horticultural activities such as soil conditioning, planting new trees or shrubs, and caring for existing greenery.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while prioritizing safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in tree surgery or grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate bucket trucks, lifts, and other landscaping machinery safely and effectively..
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance practices.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment is required.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
