Position Summary:

- The Dental Assistant at Affinity Dental plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting clinical efficiency and maintaining a high standard of professionalism
- This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to infection control standards at all times
- Assist the dentist during procedures and perform duties within the legal scope




- Accurately take radiographs, impressions, and intra-oral scans; document all clinical procedures thoroughly
- Ensure complete and detailed patient records, including medical history, charting, treatment plans, and clinical notes
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience, including use of comfort menu, clear communication, and proper patient handoff
- Support efficient patient flow by maintaining strong time management and minimizing delays
- Complete opening and closing duties and maintain a consistently clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless scheduling, proper case handoff, and achievement of daily goals
- Maintain knowledge of dental supplies, inventory, and track in-office materials used
- Assist with administrative and clinical systems as needed (scheduling, treatment coordination, referrals, pre-determinations)
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and systems (e.g., digital scanners, CAD/CAM equipment)
