Overview
We are seeking a motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to kick-start their career in the automotive industry. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled technicians, learning essential repair and maintenance skills. Duties

- Assist experienced technicians with vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs according to specifications
- Read and interpret automotive schematics and technical manuals to support repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections, identify issues, and communicate findings effectively
- Support the assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of vehicle components during repairs
- Participate in heavy lifting tasks safely to handle parts and equipment




- Maintain a clean and organized work workplace while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

- Prior dealership experience or hands-on automotive repair exposure is preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to learn welding techniques and read automotive schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work physically demanding tasks
- Strong customer service attitude with excellent communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude with an interest in automotive repair and maintenance processes
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Must have a valid Driver's Licence
- Must have own tools
