Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP), Naturopathic Doctor, or licensed medical practitioner to provide clinical support during electrolysis treatments. This role is responsible for administering local anesthetic injections, monitoring client condition throughout procedures, prescribing medications within scope of practice, and ensuring a secure, professional, and comfortable client experience. This opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals with strong clinical judgment and experience in cosmetic, outpatient, or patient care environments.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Administer local anesthetic injections prior to or during electrolysis treatments, as clinically appropriate
- Monitor client condition before, during, and after procedures
- Assess for pain response, sensitivities, and adverse reactions
- Prescribe medications within legal professional scope of practice and provincial regulations
- Provide clients with pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate charting, treatment notes, and medical documentation
- Ensure infection prevention, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are followed
- Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain smooth scheduling and treatment flow




- Respond promptly to medical concerns or emergencies if required
- Deliver professional, compassionate, and client-focused care

Qualifications and Skills

- Current Canadian licensure in good standing as one of the following:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Naturopathic Doctor (ND) licensed to practise in Canada with Pharmacy certification.
- Physician / Medical Doctor licensed in Canada
- Authorized to prescribe medications and/or administer injections within scope of practice
- Master’s Degree preferred / required where applicable
- Valid CPR / BLS Certification
- Professional liability insurance as required
- Experience in cosmetic medicine, dermatology, aesthetics, electrolysis, laser clinics, or outpatient care considered an asset
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and manage client care confidently

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $46.00-$70.00 per hour
