About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in e-commerce, inventory management, and multi-channel retail accounting. This position is ideal for someone who understands the financial and operational side of selling across multiple platforms and can keep our books, inventory, and payment reconciliations accurate and up to date.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, Amazon Seller Central, inventory management, and reconciling payments from multiple retailers and sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Reconcile payment deposits from Amazon and other retail and wholesale customers.
- Track and reconcile payments from online marketplaces, distributors, retailers, and direct customers.
- Manage inventory accounting, including inventory adjustments, costing, landed costs, and reconciliations.
- Reconcile inventory between QuickBooks Online and all sales channels.
- Monitor Amazon Seller Central settlements, fees, reimbursements, refunds, and FBA inventory.
- Ensure inventory quantities and values remain accurate across multiple systems.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Maintain accurate sales tax records and support external accountants during tax preparation.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend improvements to accounting and inventory processes.
- Support the leadership team with financial reporting, inventory analysis,



and cash flow information.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and inventory reconciliation.
- Experience reconciling payments from multiple retailers, marketplaces, and wholesale customers.
- Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is considered an asset:

- Shopify
- Walmart Marketplace
- Faire
- Costco, Loblaw, Canadian Tire, or other major retail customers
- Inventory management software and system integrations
- EDI transactions
- Multi-currency accounting
- Sales tax compliance in Canada and/or the United States
