Job description:

Role Overview
We are hiring a highly organized Dispatch Coordinator to support our dispatch and operations team. This role is detail-heavy and execution-focused, responsible for keeping the TMS live and accurate, managing tenders and appointments, and ensuring shipments are tracked, updated, and communicated properly at all times.

This is a critical role for someone who takes ownership, stays ahead of issues, and consistently goes above and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter and manage tenders accurately and on time
- Book and manage pickup and delivery appointments
- Maintain real-time accuracy in the TMS (Fleet Manager, Excel)
- Track & trace all shipments; update ETAs / ETDs
- Monitor carrier and customer portals (BluJay, E2Open, etc.)
- Communicate load updates internally and to customers




- Support dispatchers with data entry, planning, and execution
- Identify issues early and escalate before service failures occur
- Ensure all load details, documentation, and milestones are complete
- Keep operations organized, proactive, and compliant

Requirements

- 2+ years experience in dispatch coordination, logistics, or transportation support
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in Fleet Manager, Excel, Outlook
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through
- Team player who takes initiative and ownership
