Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service, a keen eye for detail, and experience in food service or hospitality environments. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting where teamwork and communication are essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

- Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and meet quality standards before serving
- Assist servers with food presentation and table setup as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas throughout the shift
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, preparation, or replenishing supplies when required
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions
- Handle guest inquiries professionally and provide excellent guest services
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards at all times




- Assist with cleaning duties including clearing tables, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and move quickly around the dining area

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
