Shift: Afternoon Shift – Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Pay: $24–$30 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator for one of our clients in Pickering, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating and programming brake press machinery, with preference given to candidates familiar with Amada equipment.

Responsibilities

- Set up, program, and operate brake press machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform accurate bend allowance and bend deduction calculations
- Ensure parts are produced to quality and dimensional standards
- Select proper tooling and machine settings for various materials and thicknesses
- Conduct machine setup adjustments and troubleshoot production issues
- Maintain a protected and clean work environment




- Work collaboratively with production and fabrication teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of brake press operating experience
- Experience with Amada brake press machines preferred
- Strong knowledge of machine setup and programming
- Ability to perform bend allowance calculations accurately
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work afternoon shifts
