About this Role

Manufacturing assembly, production team leadership, continuous improvement and high-precision manufacturing.

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a manufacturing team responsible for building CAE's industry-leading flight simulators. You will oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and delivery objectives are achieved while supporting a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys working on the production floor, solving problems and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a agile manufacturing environment.

Description

Join a manufacturing team where your impact will be direct and visible. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day production activities while ensuring safety, quality, operational performance and employee development.

This position is ideal for a leader who can engage teams, improve processes and contribute to achieving production goals in a complex, technology-driven environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Supervise, coach and develop a team of production employees in a manufacturing environment

- Manage daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity and delivery objectives are achieved

- Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture

- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and manufacturing standards

- Monitor production schedules and proactively address issues that may impact project milestones and delivery timelines

- Coordinate workforce allocation, materials and resources to support production requirements

- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and productivity

- Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives

- Establish,



implement and maintain production procedures and operational standards

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing objectives and customer commitments

- Manage employees in accordance with company policies and collective agreements

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment

- Experience managing production schedules, workforce planning and operational performance

- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment

- Experience working in a unionized environment

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

- Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety best practices

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- Experience working in a complex, technology-driven or evolving manufacturing environment

- Strong communication skills in both French and English

English proficiency is required for this role as it involves regular interaction with colleagues, customers and partners located outside of Quebec.
