We are seeking a skilled Millwright &4th class Power Engineer to join our client's automotive manufacturing team near Richmond, BC.

Shift - Days or Afternoon

Pay - Up to $53/hr

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on food processing equipment.

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

- Install, align, inspect, and maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and other production equipment.

- Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, steam systems, compressors, and other plant utilities.

- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding for equipment repairs, fabrication, and modifications.

- Fabricate machine guards, brackets, frames, piping, and other custom components as required.

- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and welding specifications.

- Respond to equipment failures and minimize production downtime.

- Complete maintenance records and preventive maintenance tasks using a CMMS.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety,



and health & safety regulations.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment installations.

Qualifications

- 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License required.

- 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate required.

- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment.

- Hands-on welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, Stick).

- Solid knowledge of pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

- Experience with boilers, steam systems, compressors, and plant utility equipment.

- Ability to fabricate and modify equipment to support production requirements.

- Experience using CMMS for maintenance tracking is an asset.

- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food manufacturing standards.

- Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
