Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food handling procedures, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The position involves serving guests, taking orders, handling payments via POS systems, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit




- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food preparation and serving
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Up sell menu items to increase sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently
- Follow all sanitation and safety regulations to ensure a safe workplace for guests and staff

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving, upselling, and cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
