Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours




- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, cashiering, and food preparation is a plus
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background will help in understanding food flow and guest needs
