Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive carpentry expertise, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, and woodworking, along with a strong background in various construction disciplines. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential to commercial structures, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in both traditional and contemporary construction methods, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications.

Duties

- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
- Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as framing, cabinetry, siding, roofing, and flooring.
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for foundations and structural elements.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, tile, siding, and other fixtures with precision.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying and stonework as required.
- Apply finishing techniques such as painting, caulking, and restoration to ensure quality aesthetics.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks when necessary or coordinate with specialists.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment.




- Estimate project materials and labor needs; assist in project planning and scheduling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter or in a similar construction role with a solid portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Skilled in concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding installation, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinetry installation, and woodworking.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (nice-to-have), heavy lifting capabilities, and other construction equipment.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and project planning is preferred.
- Experience with restoration projects or handyman work is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols on construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site access; reliable transportation required.

This position requires a dedicated professional committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards across diverse construction projects.

Pay: $26.28-$44.55 per hour
