Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Third/Fourth Year or journeyman plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify plumbing problems and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians and carpenters, on construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in HVAC systems is a plus.
- Experience in maintenance tasks related to plumbing and construction.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for plumbing applications.
- Familiarity with construction practices and principles.
- Solid understanding of plumbing techniques and best practices.
- Competence in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Capability for heavy lifting as required by job tasks.
- Experience with assembly processes related to plumbing fixtures or components.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
