Murchie’s Tea & Coffee requires a Baker for our downtown Government Street commercial kitchen.

Since our first days of delivering tea by horse and buggy we have grown into a widely recognizable name in the tea and coffee industry. Founded in 1894, Murchie’s now operates eight retail locations, a commercial kitchen, an ecommerce website, as well as a wholesale division all supported by our Delta facility.

Baker - Victoria

The Baker will bake a wide variety of goods such as bread, croissants, pies, cakes and cookies etc., ensuring quality and consistency.

Job Duties:

· Prepare and bake a variety of foods

· Ensure quality of products meet established standards

· Follow approved recipes

· Ensure safe food handling procedures

· Keep workstation orderly and clean

· Assist in production planning for daily requirements

· Complete necessary production records

· Assist in stock control, order ingredients/notify of low inventory





· With the direction of the Kitchen manager, other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

· Strong attention to detail

· Completed or currently enrolled in a baking program

· Organized, keeps workspace clean and food protected

· Completes tasks as assigned and assists other members as required

· Is reliable – shift starts at 5 am – must have reliable transportation

· Monday – Friday, 5am – 1:30pm
