What You’ll Do:

- Safely operate snowplows, and other winter maintenance equipment.
- Plow roads and assist with snow and ice control operations.
- Apply salt and sand to improve road conditions.
- Complete vehicle inspections and routine equipment care.
- Monitor changing weather and road conditions while adjusting operations as needed.
- Assist with loading winter maintenance materials.
- Respond to winter weather events and emergency operations.
- Complete daily documentation and operational records.
- Work safely while following Township policies and provincial legislation.
- Support the team throughout the winter season.

What We’re Looking For:

- Holds a valid DZ Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Has experience operating DZ vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
- Takes pride in operating equipment safely and professionally.
- Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to respond when winter weather arrives.




- Values teamwork, safety, and serving the community.
- Can work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Position Details:

- This is a Seasonal Contract from approximately November 2026 to April 2027 position.
- Number of vacancies: 5
- Normal hours of work may vary including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. On-call and standby responsibilities.
- Working across the Township yards; Kenilworth, Damascus, Arthur and Mount Forest.
- Pay Range: $27.18 to 33.98 per hour
