Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient materials management, and optimize supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, expertise in warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and process improvement methodologies. This role requires a proactive approach to supervising staff, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics to support business growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and distribution.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP systems, and AS400 to manage inventory levels, track shipments, and streamline processes.
- Coordinate procurement activities including purchasing, freight management, and working with 3PL providers to optimize logistics solutions.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse performance.
- Manage materials management activities such as demand planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination.
- Oversee budgeting responsibilities related to warehouse operations and ensure compliance with financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with procurement teams on vendor relations and procurement strategies to support operational needs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment, distribution accuracy, and warehouse productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics roles with supervising experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP systems, AS400, and supply chain software such as process improvement tools.
- Experience with materials management, demand planning, freight logistics, procurement, and 3PL coordination.
- Proficiency in using forklift equipment; certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles related to warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a dynamic team while driving operational excellence within a growing organization.
Pay: $41,600.00-$50,000.00 per year
