Position Summary:
- The Dental Floater supports the clinical team by assisting with sterilization, patient flow, side-column patients, and general clinic organization to help ensure the office runs efficiently each day.
This role requires robust teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to infection control standards at all times
- Support the clinical team to maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day
- Manage side-column patients and assist with keeping appointments running smoothly
- Complete sterilization and instrument processing according to clinic protocols
- Complete opening and closing duties and maintain a consistently clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless scheduling, proper case handoff, and achievement of daily goals
- Restock clinical supplies and help maintain accurate inventory
- Monitor clinic needs and proactively address areas requiring attention
- Provide general clinical and operational support wherever needed to keep the day running efficiently
- Jump in to assist team members during busy periods and help minimize delays
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both patients and the team
