Warehouse Nights Order Selector

Position Type - Full-Time Permanent

Reports To - Night Shift Supervisors

Location – 201 Saunders Road, Barrie, Ontario

Hours of Work

- 40+ hours per week
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs and will be compensated in accordance with applicable employment standards legislation.

Peak Season (May to October)

- Sunday to Thursday

· Approximately 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, with completion based on customer order volume and operational requirements

· During the summer months, an early 4:00 PM-to-close shift may also be available based on operational needs.

- Extended hours may be required as order volume increases.
- We finish when all customer orders are prepared and ready to ship.

Non-Peak Season (November to April)

- Sunday to Thursday
- Approximately 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- Shift end times may vary based on operational requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

· Starting wage: $22.50/hour during probation

· Wage progression following successful reviews: $23.00/hour at 3 months; $23.50/hour at 6 months; $24.00/hour at 9 months; $24.50/hour at 12 months; $25.00/hour at 15 months

· Top rate: $25.33/hour, subject to periodic performance reviews

· Freezer premium available: +$0.50/hour; maximum freezer rate: $25.83/hour

Wage progression timelines may be accelerated based on performance, attendance, and operational readiness.

Following a successful 3-month review, employees become eligible for Group Health and Dental Benefits, RRSP Matching Program, DPSP, Paid Sick Leave, and Safety Boot Allowance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Pick customer orders for shipment in dry, cooler, and frozen storage areas.

· Read and interpret product labels, pick sheets, invoices, and related documentation to ensure accurate product selection and shipment preparation.

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform housekeeping duties throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory movement and warehouse operations as required.
- Complete additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Equipment Operated

Training will be provided on all required equipment, including:

- Pallet Rider
- Narrow Aisle Lifting Machine

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new processes and adapt quickly.
- Ability to improve productivity and accuracy following training.




- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and statutory holidays when required.

Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to safely identify products, complete paperwork, interpret labels and pick lists, and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

- Ability to safely and repeatedly lift, move, and handle products weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Frequent walking, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, carrying, and prolonged standing throughout the shift.
- Good hand dexterity, coordination, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively within time-sensitive operational demands.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying temperature-controlled environments, including cooler and freezer storage areas.
- Strong situational awareness and the ability to work safely around warehouse equipment, products, and co-workers.
- Ability to maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety standards throughout the shift.
