B&A; Petroleum seeking a FT Assistant Manager of Customer Service, Warehouse (Livestock Nutrition) and Maintenance (Equipment and Rentals) at Maple Creek, SK. This opportunity offers competitive wages, a benefit package, permanent FT employment, and home nightly.
- Provide customer service and assist with sales, payments, phone calls and data entry.
- Dispense propane and assist cardlock customers.
- Receive, load and unload product
- Assist with ordering product, participate in inventory control, circulation and restocking.
- Oversee waste management, rodent and weed control, snow and garbage removal and surface maintenance (gravel/grading).
- Assist with sales of livestock feed, minerals, salt and twine and management of customer concerns/requests.
- Acquire product knowledge and provide technical information on products and rentals.
- Oversee Flaman rentals, inspections, maintenance and repairs and order parts as directed.
- Assist with oil or feed deliveries if required and picking up parts, equipment or drivers.
- Responsible for OWS inspections and sampling and maintenance.
- Oversee scheduling of electrical bonding and grounding inspections and fire extinguisher inspections.
- Manage and seasonal requirements, spill and winter kits and on-site PPE.
- Responsible for general site/cardlock and equipment repairs, maintenance and upkeep that do not require specialized service or contractors.
- Contact service providers and contractors as directed and perform contractor site orientations.
- Maintain records as required by assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Complete training, participate in Toolbox/Manager’s Meetings and Drills as required.
- Communicate and work collaboratively with management, safety team and staff to ensure legislative and prudent ops requirements are achieved.
- Assist with benchmarking levels of service and performance in compliance with Petro-Canada standards - reporting, observations,
evaluations and inspections.
- Comply with all site safety policies, procedures, protocols and legislation.
- Use the safeguards, safety appliances and personal protective equipment provided in accordance with regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Owner/Operator or General Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Basic computer skills, strong mathematical ability, and proficiency in both written and verbal language skills.
- Knowledge of farming, ranching, strong interpersonal skills and sales experience preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair or facilities management, with strong mechanical aptitude and or knowledge of automotive, electrical, instrumentation, welding and training in the operation of power mobile equipment would be an asset.
- Criminal Records Check and Pre-employment Drug/Alcohol testing required to qualify
- Physically fit to perform physically demanding tasks (bend, lift, carry, climb) in diverse weather conditions
- Clean driver’s abstract required. (Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with air brakes would be an asset
