Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operations in our Ottawa warehouse. This role combines physical tasks like order fulfillment and delivery support, with administrative duties such as order processing, vendor purchasing, and Odoo ERP implementation. Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Accuracy

- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct final order checks for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare shipments for courier and LTL pickup.

Driving & Delivery

- Assist with local deliveries as required (valid G license needed).
- Load/unload product and ensure protected handling.

Order Desk & E-Commerce Coordination

- Respond to phone calls, emails, and e-commerce orders professionally.
- Coordinate backorders and vendor ETAs with the purchasing team.
- Process incoming orders using the ERP system.

Purchasing & Reporting Support

- Submit purchase requests to approved vendors.
- Monitor incoming product levels and flag low stock.
- Assist in running operational, purchasing, and sales data reports using Excel and the ERP system.

Qualifications

- 1 to 3 years of warehouse, logistics, or operations experience, with hands-on exposure to Odoo ERP.




- Proficiency in Excel and basic data reporting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools or an interest in learning how AI can support warehouse and purchasing operations (such as automation, forecasting, and workflow optimization).

Essential Skills:

- G license with a clean driver’s abstract (no major infractions).
- Experience delivering customer orders.
- Reading, numeracy, oral communication and attention to details.
- Handling items up to 50lbs (23kg).

Additional Skills:

- Experience driving a straight truck.
- Experience driving a Hino with a 16” box.
- Experience transporting dangerous goods.
- Experience using a reach truck, gas powered forklift and walkie.
- Customer service driven.

Training Provided:

- Transportation and handling of dangerous goods (accounts for 20% of items).
- Health & Safety.
- Reach truck.

This is a Full-Time position, Monday to Friday starting between 8am – ending 5pm.
