Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. Your expertise will help drive successful project bids, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Duties

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to compile detailed bid proposals.
- Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and analyze material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to understand project scope and constraints.
- Prepare detailed bid packages that meet client requirements and company standards.
- Assist in project management by tracking cost changes and updating estimates as needed.





Requirements

- Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in estimating tools such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
- Solid knowledge of construction pricing, project management principles, and negotiation strategies.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with heavy civil or commercial projects is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
