Installations Technician
Windows, Doors, Decks (Exterior Renovations)

Our Installations team is growing, and we are now accepting applications for a full-time Installer, based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. We are seeking an Installations Specialist to provide support alongside our experienced installers to deliver high-quality installations.

This is a great opportunity for someone to develop hands-on installation experience & who is looking to build their skills, take on more responsibility and grow within a busy, established team.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following job duties:

- Assist with the installation of exterior windows, doors, decks, and siding on residential and commercial job sites
- Prepare job sites, tools, and materials for daily installation work
- Take accurate measurements and assist with cutting, fitting, and fastening materials to specification
- Follow manufacturer installation guidelines and Company safety procedures at all times
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Clean up job sites upon completion of work
- Communicate professionally with customers, site supervisors, and team members

· Identify and report any job site issues, damage, or material shortages to the lead installer or supervisor

· Assist in building maintenance projects at Soo Mill

· Work within Ministry codes to ensure environmental, labor, health and safety, building & transportation codes





· Responsible to maintain company tools & equipment and keep in good working order

Required Qualifications:

· Class G Driver’s license with clean abstract – requirement

· 1-3 years of relevant experience in the construction, installation, carpentry or related trade

· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights (ladders, scaffolding)

· Ability to maintain a skilled attitude and appearance to reflect our premium brand and provide a superior standard of service and exceptional customer experience while working in a team environment and supporting and contributing to growth

· Attention to detail and focus

· Base knowledge of the home renovation industry, products & willingness to continually expand knowledge

Pay: $19.20-$22.00 per hour
