Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Occupational Therapist in Ontario to join our team. This role involves working with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat fine and gross motor skill disorders.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive monthly evaluations of client's fine and gross motor abilities.
- Conduct Occupational Therapy Assessments remotely.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with team to supervise individualized treatment plans.
- Educate families about occupational therapy disorders and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate monthly supervision notes of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in Occupational Therapy.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in Ontario from an accredited program.
- Current licence/registration as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario.
- Familiarity with individualized treatment plan processes.
- Solid interpersonal skills for effective client and family interaction and collaboration with the team.
MUST HAVE A VALID CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION FOR OCCUPATIONAL THEAPY IN ONTARIO, CANADA.
You would be the only OT on our team taking over assigned OT clients.
