Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shop Drawing Detailer & CNC Programmer to join our client's custom millwork manufacturing team. This role is responsible for creating accurate production-ready shop drawings and CNC programs from architectural drawings, design specifications, and field measurements.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, technical knowledge of millwork manufacturing, and the ability to create efficient solutions that improve production quality and workflow.

Job Responsibilities

- Create detailed shop drawings for custom cabinetry, commercial millwork, wall panels, furniture, doors, and architectural woodwork.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, hardware layouts, joinery details, and installation information.
- Develop CNC programs using Mozaik or similar software.
- Create toolpaths, drilling operations, routing, nesting, and machine optimization.
- Review projects for manufacturability, material optimization, and installation requirements.




- Collaborate with project managers, production teams, cabinetmakers, installers, and CNC operators.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Ensure drawings and CNC files meet quality and production standards.

Job Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in custom millwork, cabinet manufacturing, architectural woodworking, or production engineering.
- Solid knowledge of CNC programming and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Mozaik CNC Software (or equivalent).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or Alphacam is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings.
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction, hardware systems, joinery, materials, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
