Overview
We are growing our team of professionals and seeking an experienced Senior Accountant and Manager to join our accounting team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, taking ownership of financial operations, and is willing to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position directly reports to the partners. The role will be a full-time position, with the expectation of working 44 hours per week. A combined number of years of qualified experience and education will be considered for compensation for a successful candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting

· A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Full Cycle Accounting

· A minimum of 4 years of work experience with compilation and tax returns (T2/T1)

· A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in QuickBooks, Caseware, Taxprep and performing tasks online and in Microsoft Excel

· A minimum of 2 years of audit and review engagements

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

· Accounting Operations – Reviewing junior accountant files, creating financial statements for monthly and year-end reporting

· Full Cycle Accounting – Preparing and finalizing financial statements, closing books, and ensuring tax compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations

· Taxes – Overseeing tax preparation & filing, ensuring timely compliance with all relevant regulations, & preparation of corporate and personal tax returns





· Other Responsibilities – T2, T1, audit and review engagement, reviewing reconciliations, and other tasks & duties as required
