Job Title: Dispatcher
Location: York Region, ON
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (6-Month Contract)
Salary: $20.00-$22.00/hour
Work Model: In Office

Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking for a Dispatcher to join their team.

Position Description:

- Coordinate and dispatch approximately 16 drivers operating from the Vaughan location.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily routes throughout the GTA.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Address and resolve delivery, routing, and scheduling issues in a timely manner.
- Update dispatch records and ensure accurate documentation within the company system.
- Assist with route optimization and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.





Skills & Qualifications:

- 1–2 years of dispatching, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience.
- Strong knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using Eclipse or similar dispatch software is considered an asset.
- Ability to start on short notice is preferred.
